Finally got around to watching Short Peace today. I thought it was cool although the shorts felt disjointed. But yeah the disc is interesting because it's got both the film and the final 5th component which is a PS3 game developed by Suda51. So if I put it in my Blu-ray player I can watch the movie and if I put it in my PS3 I can play the game. It is kinda wild haha. Not sure if much else did this except I think a couple of Macross film releases did? I think the US didn't get this release, they just had the game on the PSN store and the film as a regular Blu-ray. PAL region superiority, for a change!
I have seen the film before but not for a while and not in 4k. Apparently the 4k disc had a lot of colour grading work done on it by distributor Kino Lorber to basically undo the colour grading originally done to the 4k transfer by that one Italian movie scanning restoration company that always seems to have people mad about their colour grading decisions.
