I try to not feel guilty about adding a lot of tags to things, personally. Especially when they’re similar to each other, like the 8000 different transformation tags. Aside from various tags that help organize things on my own profile page (like tagging something as ‘drawing’), I just ask myself “if someone had this tag bookmarked, where they’re opting into seeing such things and presumably wouldn’t want to miss them, would such a person want to see this thing?” And if the answer is “yes” then I go ahead and add it!
