webpack is my least favorite thing about web development tbh, it makes things worse for both the developer and end user
Yeah, it's just wholly unintuitive, harsh, and poorly documented, and every application of it needs a boatload of additional packages which may or may not work with up-to-date versions of webpack or each other.
