omg... if you can believe it, until you said that it hadn't occurred to me... it was a series of coincidences where after arriving at the 3D set style and helping change the text boxes to match it, I thought the outlines would help tie the whole thing together and help the characters pop
you are the second game developer i know to not do this on purpose & i love the direction you chose. keep on going you beautiful developer
