I just don't know with climate change. It makes me suspect that the earth will become an uninhabitable planet like Venus is (as far as we currently know) before we get to that point.
I see only two ways this could happen. ① We discover some new physics which allows for faster than light travel. ② Microscopic life capable of being dormant for a Very Long Time, perhaps bacteria or tardigrades, hitch a ride on something like a comet or ʻOumuamua.
Climate change and mega war are serious risks to our civilization and species. But other forms of life on Earth will survive both.
