for my english homework I am supposed to make connections from "This Is How You Lose The Time War" to other books, but it feels impossible to do so! Its such a unique book its so hard to even compare it to anything. How am I supposed to even describe what more I want to know from the book? I want to know EVERYTHING! I want to spend an eternity learning everything that Red and Blue learned, the ways they assemble their letters to eachother, their love trancending time. How the hell do I find something to challenge about this book? I cant even begin to describe the ways it makes my brain think.

If you’re looking for suggestions (no worries if not) then you should check out The Dispossessed by Le Guin and Slaughterhouse 5 by Vonnegut. Both books, like Time War, have very non-linear, “unstuck from time” plot progression and the through line we follow as readers is instead the emotional progression of the characters. Also like Time War they’re great books!
