1.) Always make at least one piece of artwork of a horse and tag it "horse". Every day a new horse girl is born and she is dying to find your horse painting from 2014 that you posted to tumblr and tumblr only. She will tag it "horse" and the name of a horse like "chestnut" or "josh". This will happen everyday for the rest of your life.
2.) Post your art on a throw away pinterst and link it to a kofi or patreon or your store. something where analytics matter. I <3 pinterest bots and old women who dont understand how to use the app. since I've started doing that, I get at least 5-10 hits on my kofi daily and sometimes get confused comments on my patreon posts. Makes me laugh alot.
The horse painting in question. This took me over 100 hours to make and I painted it with single hair paint brush. I didnt have a camera at the time to even remotely capture the detail. Yet every day some girl finds it and resonates with it.
