i know two people who graduated from RIT's game design program, and neither of them is working in game development
(one is a programmer for those photo kiosks you find at CVS and the other has been unemployed for going on two years now)
you'll also have to learn to accept the smell (RIT "gamer majors" are not known for their hygiene)
