My tip for college survival: they want you to be challenged, and you almost certainly will be, but nobody wants you to fail, if you need help, even with "the dumb part", ask, someone will be happy to take the time to help you. Heck maybe even some of us here
~ signed, a dropout from a top ten US university. I didn't take this advice lmao, I cried alone in a library basement all my waking hours for a week instead and ignored everyone trying to give me second chances out of guilt and imposter syndrome. I know now how dumb this was, but also I have a keen understanding of how sneaky a trap it is.
Of course, hopefully you're just too brilliant and well-adjusted to even have that much trouble lmao, I certainly hope so, good luck out there!

I have been slowly learning about the importance of self advocacy and asking for help and i hope those will help carry me forwards in college!

Also I think it's a fantastic idea to have hobbies based on available non-coursework resources, one of my bigger regrets is not making time to pursue my own projects while I was there. (I wish I learned how to use the CNC lab!)
