This is the main reason I watch very little anime. If I'm watching something by myself I'm going to have something else on my second monitor, and that makes it hard to follow.
my strat for things i want to enjoy like that which require focus is to wait until i get into bed at night and im tired enough to only focus on one thing
That is smart! I'm not sure if I could pull that off as my focus tends to hold pretty steady right up until it drops off a cliff but it's worth a shot.
