I want to learn more about Fourier transforms
why? (what are you looking into where they came up / is there any applied domain in particular you're working in?)
I've seen some vague things about using them to draw arbitrary images made from curves and I want to try doing such. I also find the idea of using them for audio reconstruction really interesting!
oh, neat! for the image domain ... try checking out some of Fred's resources for explaining how they work, I've found them very helpful over the years for doing image analysis and manipulation: http://www.fmwconcepts.com/imagemagick/fourier_transforms/fourier.html
I've got dozens more links concerning FFT/DFTs and images on my desktop, I'll send em over later if this actually seems relevant. for audio I can't help much, but that seems to be the more normal way people use FFTs :)
https://cohost.org/nago-/post/5363658-random-reading-on-di - just a giant jumble of links but maybe something useful to you in there if you skim. or maybe not! GLHF
