in reply to @Codarobo's post:

Context: i saw a very good and true post with some genuinely non-explicit text content pertaining to tummies being hot and noticed it was marked 18+ and immediately felt a little sad the person who posted it felt it necessary to mark it that way, even if I can understand the desire to be cautious about that kind of thing. It is ok for everyone to know this information IMO

Okay I should be less spicy about this, some good people just genuinely haven't interrogated why they think that way. It just sucks that we've lived in centuries of people policing "deviant" body types and that otherwise well meaning people will reproduce that behavior simply because it's normal.

The die-hard body police can in fact choke tho

Agree with the qualification here, and i wouldn’t consider the poster that made me think to write this post to be “body police” - if anything i think this could easily be internalized shame or fear or being seen as inappropriate/oversharing, or interpreting cohost’s rules or social norms in such a way where they thought this was expected/required or something.

I’m not trying to trash the OP or anything. I really understand the thing here of “if i find something hot that constitutes sexuality and thus is 18+, should i tag this” and err on the side of being more cautious about it. I don’t think that such a person deserves anything bad happening to them and was not intending this to shame or call them out. This is directed at everyone on here to just sorta reinforce the idea that tummy is legal and also not intrinsically explicit or adult.
