Making a game in css for cohost feels a lot like mechanical clockwork its super interesting
things tick by at different rates, needing different amounts of time to do different things. visuals and gameplay are sometimes separate sometimes quite literally connected. animations need to sync up to buttons which whiz by while the player tries to get timing right. Trying to do an animation that starts after a button press in a repeatable manner needs precise timing. I would Love to work with someone to make a proper Game Editor Thing if possible, i feel like it would be a super interesting method of constructing games. Ive never made An Editor For A Thing, but if anyone has done that before and wants to throw some ideas around id love that.
I really think im reaching the point of being able to tackle a fishing minigame. Ive figured out how things can be abstracted i just need to plan out how it comes together gameplay wise and visuals wise. This will be interesting as fuck
