exciting new "i fucking hate davinci resolve" moment: spending 20 minutes trying to figure out why the fuck other people have a button that gives them 2 media preview panes and i don't, only to find that it's because this stupid program decides for you whether you're worthy of having access to that UI feature based on your monitor resolution and windows scaling. so if my 1440p monitor is scaled up 25% so i can actually fucking read text easily, i'm prevented from accessing what most video editors seem to agree is a crucial piece of workflow, because blackmagic decided that would just be too much to squeeze into my monitor instead of letting me make that goddamn choice
also after updating they showed me all their "exciting new features!" and there's like 4 that just go "uhh yeah this one's AI, it's super good and cool because of the AI we shoved into it" which further makes me want to Kill
