seems like the negative speculators about ff16's sales are underestimating the negative long-run effects 15 had. whether you finished that game or not, its total lack of design focus was glaringly evident
I also don't blame anyone for not being inside-baseball about individual dev teams within a company. the makeup of leadership between 15 and 16 is miles apart
it will do fine. much of this is projection from a small audience that thinks what they disliked about 13+15 was the straying away from traditional turn-based RPG mechanics, when what they actually disliked was the messiness of their design and storytelling
