found a guy in the portland area on barq while I was visiting there last month, they were totally my type (clean cut and a little overweight), and the first conversation seemed like there was some connection there
next day, left on read, no responses from then on. tried messaging again this morning. still nothing
those are the outcomes that bug me, where I have no idea what I did or said that prompted them to ghost me. granted I might not feel much better if they came forward about why, but it's still so disappointing all the same
being single for this long, at my age, has been slowly messing with my self-identity. I'm losing focus on what I want out of a relationship at this point
