pseudoregalia is an easy recommend, it's a nonlinear platformer with a ps1/dreamcast aesthetic and is highly focused on a fluid movement system where sequence-breaking is encouraged thanks to the incredible flexibility of your abilities
it feels great to chain these motions together and overcome an obstacle even when you know you're missing key abilities. there are a few tricks you might not pick up on a first playthrough, too
the combat is middling but it's not the focus, which is refreshing for games like this. I blasted through it in 4 hours and couldn't put it down
