separate ways playthrough impressions
just like re4make is a good way to reexperience the original, this campaign is a good way to play through the content again in miniature
primary complaint is that the difficulty curve swung wildly up and down. ada is made of paper the entire time, so bulkier enemies pose a massive risk if you don't keep them stunned. she also doesn't get much unique weaponry outside of her grappling hook, which is...neat but doesn't help in a lot of the more cramped environments
the english actress does slightly better here, though she still has the problem of many line reads not having the right tone for the situation. I could speculate on what happened here, but at the end of the day it's still the weakest performance in the game and I wish she wasn't getting hassled by people about it
including a few of the main campaign's skipped scenes from the original was nice. the original bosses are generally good, though they're about as trial-and-error as the main campaign's bosses. it ends a lot better for sure (saddler is an unfun fight on leon's end)
it's good, mostly nonessential content. hard to have any significant complaints about more re4make at 10 bucks
