cyberpunk overhaul update makes for a better few opening hours. the builds clearly convey what playstyle fantasy you're building up to, it's actually pretty enjoyable to dump resources into crafting now, armor mechanics have been moved off of equipment onto the ripperdoc system (where upgrades can be more clearly felt), and the map screen's default view now tries to point you towards the meatier quest content
it's way easier to get into a comfortable RPG progression cycle when you aren't stumbling over half-baked game systems. I'm curious if it can maintain the hold it currently has on me
