I dived into the bookwyrm source code trying to understand what their ontology was for books, and what their source of truth was for books, and was kinda sad to learn that there's no ontology, only ad-hoc stuff (as far as I can remember) and that books are user-defined. Ie, there is no way to say "I read this stuff whose canonical source is something.itch.io/something".

Anyway, that doesn't answer your question, but I have three quarter of a semantic gateway for itch and dtrpg, and this is the first time this is half relevant enough to mention :)

No idea if I'm using the term properly, but what I meant is I have a web service that exposes itch and dtrpg stuff as semantic web data (rdf and json-ld). The idea being to have a unified api/representation for games across various sites, so I can build things on top. For example a tracker of games I've read and played, with data for games coming from these various sources.
