ohh thank you! yeah this kind of goes with my impression that TMA/TME is, if anything, vulgar and malformed transfeminism, expanding a concept meant to explain to people "this is why you don't get it when i try to explain my experiences and transmisogyny to you" into one meant to reify one type of solidarity as supreme over intersectionality (strong parallels to lesbian separatism here), prioritizing tumblr jungle self-defense concerns in which it's "safest" to stick to people as close to almost exactly like you as possible, over how things structurally really are.
it really seems like a mindset born out of an environment where, for an example of another axis of bigotry, garden variety misogyny isn't really a topic of concern, you don't really see like roving misogynist gangs, so it's easy to believe transmisogyny is a lot more unique than it actually is.
what i'm saying is, harassment is so far from the only factor of oppression! transmasculine people are rapidly becoming media villains in their own right ("transmasc killers") and everything transfem people experience, transmasc people experience to some degree. you know who the second most harassed group on tumblr is? fucking transmascs, undoubtedly. it's only because tumblr's design, moderation, and community encourage this total sequestration of groups that we have these two pillars of Transmasc Advocates With Giant Grudges That Sometimes Do Harassment and Transfem Advocates With Giant Grudges That Sometimes Do Harassment, because absent of literally any accountability imposed by staff in scenarios where literal terf brigades aren't instigating and filing mass reports (and even when they are most of the time, from what i can tell), this is how agitated and vulnerable communities defend themselves... and the continual mockery and villainization of the very idea that transmascs even could have their own issues is justification enough for them to retract from transfems the same way transfems have from them.
