fun fact! lots of things can be changed in several weeks.
So heres a bit of history related to this project:
Pesterchum is a fictional chat client from everybody's favorite can of brain worms. (homestuck)
So cool! so fun!
what if it was real though!!
well about a decade ago some genius made it real. Its basically IRC with some extra metadata thats sneakily hidden away by the client. The most up-to-date version of the client is the "pesterchum alt servers" version, which is honestly a great piece of software!!
Problem is its python QT5/6 program which means its basically impossible to run on anything except ur standard run of the mill desktop computer device, not ideal!!
which brings us to chumdroid, an android app someone made around the same time that works with the desktop client and server.
fine and dandy!! oh wh o o ps this app is 9 years old and barely works on modern phones,,
oh thats where this is going
so yes long intro but im making my own pesterchum client, targeting android & desktop.
the source code is up on gitlab and as the name implies, im making it in the godot (game) engine
