"Open 3D Engine"^[1]. Amazon's very own lumberyard game engine. which they open sourced and then got adopted by the linux foundation. and it has like a bunch of big corp support. the wikipedia page is tiny and all they have to show for projects on the website is like. shitty industry automation stuff and tech demos. and nobody talks about it, even though supposedly its pretty capable. like amazon used this (though like half of the games got cancelled lol). theres 4 whole games listed as made with o3de on itch, 3 of which are not actually games.

its just like such a bizarre thing. i guess it got completely overshadowed by godot? idk like what the fuck is the deal with o3de.
