The CEO of the company (which also owns wordpress) is Posting Through It, trying to defend the decision to completely nuke the account of another popular trans woman. Like, literally every image they've ever uploaded removed.

And not only does he admit to hiring compromised transphobic moderators in the past, but then justifies THIS ban with a completely u serious "threat". Like literally cartoon shit. "I hope a piano falls on you" tier.

And THEN he goes in the comments where everyone is tearing into him and tries to defend himself more. Totally insane. What is it about owning a social media company....

I'd be on his side a little more if they were truly taking a hardline "zero tolerance on violent threats" stance but they aren't going to bend over backwards like this when some rando receives a threat. This guy is giving himself special boy treatment at best.

I'm trying not to take a side here because I don't know either person here but this PhotoMatt guy definitely isn't making himself very defensible. If his one example is "Tumblr staff is already abusing me so I wish they'd all walk into the ocean and never come back" then how did we get to that point, Matthew.
