I make games, do arts and generally exist

Look everyone, I hate to be a nagging nightelf about this but please DO NOT open mysterious books you find lying on the ground, entombed in a forgotten dungeon, or otherwise cannot establish the provenance of. Same goes for scrolls, runes, tablets, and any freestanding platonic solid. You do not know what ancient or modern magicks, energies, or curses might be imbued on that thing, so please just bring it downstairs and we can take a look at it safely.

I understand not everyone can afford the iron-quartz glasses, which is why we provide black jade reflecting mirrors to read potentially dangerous material. I don’t care if you think you look foolish in the scriptorium! You’ll look more the fool when a portal to the under-plane opens over your desk

Magic enthusiasts: My entire dungeon is smart.

Magic workers: The only piece of magic in my house is an Immovable Rod and I keep a mace next to it so I can smash it if it makes a noise I don't recognize
