i spent 6-8 years learning to define what a 'game' is and fuck it a game is when you see a little guy on a screen

happy to report that i showed this post to my friends a month ago and now when i post a "little guy" we debate about if it's considered a game or not. just now i took a photo of a sticky note that someone drew on: Photograph of a sticky note stuck to a metal box with a drawing of a cat on it. and ppl were like "game" "behold a game" "what is a screen anyway" and apparently:
  1. a screen is something that displays graphics
  2. post-it notes display drawings, which are graphics
  3. post-it notes are screens
  4. behold a game

i like this definition because i think 'a little guy' can be paperclipped to the 'GM's Screen,', or the paper in front of me, or the battlemat, or the screen projected on the wall of the cave in my mind's eye, etc.

but the little guy is essential
