- listen i'm usually a dell poweredge kind of gal but the HP gen8 aesthetics are lookin' pretty good
- yeah i'm unsure whether i want to keep the RAM at 1600 MHz, or go up to 192 GB but have to clock down to 1333 MHz
- you've got to have dual PSUs. i don't care what you say, one of them is going to blow up at the worst possible time
- i think it's very important for the rails to feel smooth so that they don't annoy me the one time every two years i interact with them
- yeah this one runs on itanium. real shame they've stopped making these, they were the obvious path forward for 64-bit at one point, stripped out a lot of clutter, ran real lean. Some folk say they'll come back someday, but I doubt it
