i am personally responsible for the following horrible things here:
(the deleted comment was explaining it but then i realised i may be using the same bug as you found (idk what bug you found but it's a chance they're the same) so i probably shouldn't discuss it publicly)
hmm, I don't think they're likely to be related, mine wasn't session-related
alright then. i use hashed IPs. only stored in memory while you look at the image, i never get to see the hash, nor the plain IP myself. (i was near the end of the implementation when i realized that i totally could just slap a session cookie on there. will do for my next mjpeg thingy because this kinda sucks)
ahh, right! that makes sense, and I appreciate your efforts to ensure some privacy even for this kind of toy! :)

what the fuckkkkkk
i just typed in random stuff cause i didnt know what this would be
wow!!!!
you can bypass the whole having to hold ctrl/cmd with this trick btw https://cohost.org/iliana/post/68021-installing-a-pop-up (tl;dr HTTP 204 No Content and protocol-relative URLs in the href)
eh, this was made a month ago so i can't be arsed to regenerate the links. plus, it's a silly unusable thing anyways.
i regret to inform you that i'm pretty sure this also kills every cohost page it's on
