It's fun to do and I have a tiny audience and it seems to enrich their lives, which is nice.

My question to you: what the heck do I do about playlists? I've just been putting every video on the same playlist. But Youtube's ergonomics are not great for such a long playlist, and it gets ungainly as more games get added to the list. But if I move the games into separate playlists, I am worried people will get lost when they reach the end of a game and assume I haven't done any more.

Another thing about putting everything in the same playlist is that people can see the number of unavailable videos in the playlist which means they can tell that I've recorded Mario videos through July of 2024. Whether that's a pro or a con is an exercise for the reader.

hmm, i'm not super familiar with youtube's organizational systems. it seems like a playlist of (per game) playlists would be the thing but i'm not sure if you can do that (or just have to manually add everything that's in one list to the other - yuck). as for clueing people in to the fact that there's more after they finish the last video in a game run, YT lets you do "end of video links / cards" right? you could add one of those so that eg when people finish the last mario64 video that can immediately tap to see the first mario 3 video, or whatever.
