It does have a web interface; it's pretty basic, but then so is Bluesky as a whole. I don't really like it, but it's useful for keeping up with people who're only there. Let me know if you want an invite code

Thanks for the offer - I got a code today after putting in my email address months ago, but seeing "1. Download our app" in the instructions put me off even trying.
I just tried the web interface now and wow it is very basic but it does fit my requirement for begrudgingly using it at least!
Yeah, about the only positive feeling I have towards Bluesky is its potential to draw people off of Twitter. But using it keeps reminding me of what I don't love about Twitter, plus it's missing a bunch of functionality.
(It's absolutely wild to me that the options for seeing replies to posts are either "no" or "yes, if they have at least X likes". Twitter's "yes, if you follow both parties" was fine! Even its new thing, "yes, if you follow 2 or more people who are somewhere in the conversation", isn't awful.)
