Hi friends,

A few years ago, I tried to find a publisher who would be interested in porting GB Rober to switch and potentially to other consoles as well. Things got fairly far on two occasions, only for the other side to stop communicating with me (one of them basically got to the “only thing left is to sign the contract” stage) and after the second attempt I kind of stopped thinking about it.

Anyway, as I’m pondering my options with Virtue’s Heaven Virtue’s Heaven, the possibility of getting GB Rober onto consoles also came to my mind and I would really like to give this a try. In that regard, if folks here have experiences with specific publishers/porting studios and/or do these kinds of things themselves, please let me know!

P.S.: Both games were/are made in Game Maker 2

yeah, me neither. Until today! I finally found a way to maybe get a monthly newsletter into my schedule (I just send out the first edition). It's mostly going to be about stuff I've been working on and some ramblings about things I've watched, played and/or read as well some more general thoughts that I may feel could be worth sharing.

It's highly unlikely that I'll spam you with anything.

First, spend an hour pondering the question how the Enlightenment is obsessed with pressing Humanity into a very specific kind of vision and how that creates a hostile world that we have to overcome in some way or another.

Then, spend the rest of the day fiddling around with numbers so that the robots explode in a cool way.

And somehow both of these are related.

More robots, this time for the evil side of the game. I wanted them be generally smaller and more mundane looking(?) than the one's for the player side, to kind of emphasis the differences between the two. Both in terms of technology but also because four colours and small resolutions can make things look a bit same-y if you're not careful.
