hi everyone! Cohostinator has a new feature to clip really long posts. sometimes Cohost's "Read More" button doesn't save you from posts with large images or long embeds. this feature will clip anything that is bigger than one screenful.

please update Cohostinator by going to the link above or by using your Userscript extension to update it.

also, the auto-updater has been fixed! it checks daily for new updates so you can see them right in your settings menu instead of waiting for your Userscript extension to do it for you (or to not do it for you, if it's one that does not auto-update scripts). either way, you won't have to hear about new updates from me! your Cohostinator will kindly remind you.

hi! i like this extension but i don't like how it drags everything to the left when the top menu is enabled
could you add a feature to center the feed, or pin the left menu? (or both?)
thank you for your work!!!
another possible feature to add is when top nav is enabled have them show up while in profiles too

hello, thanks for the feedback :) yes, I had thought of centering the feed, but it slipped my mind because I always have wide posts enabled which sort of negates the issue. thanks for putting it back on my radar.
top nav in profiles is also something I wanted to add! it's a little more challenging because the top nav tweak works by stealing the existing navigation bar and moving it. since no nav bar exists in profiles, cohostinator would have to generate a new one. I will look into it though.
thanks for giving cohostinator a try!

thank you for making it and thank you for listening!!
i do think making it link to things and hiding the sidebar instead of moving it could present more chances to add things like macros
also!!! text color is important to add as darker custom rethemes lack a lot of contrast

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean in that first part. what is "it" referring to?
yes, there will be more options for changing text color in the future. I need to rewrite the theming engine before I can do that, due to the way Cohost spreads its color variables across a whole bunch of CSS classes, so keep an eye out for that update.
