Riding around today, indicated, merged into the left-most lane in preparation for getting into the HOV lane, and a Subaru Crosstrek left-lane cruising decided that I was too close, "avoided" me by getting into the HOV lane and speeding up, and the lady in the passenger seat made big "what the hell" hand gestures at me and that's just such a weird inversion of how things are supposed to go. People in cars aren't supposed to get mad at me. They aren't supposed to see me. I'm supposed to yell at them.

I've been mulling this over in my mind trying to figure out if I was in the wrong and I don't think so. There was plenty of space for me, and I definitely wasn't cutting them off. Why can't I stop thinking about this.
