I've been enjoying taking pictures of my autocross events when I can, and sometimes I even get pretty cool ones. I think I was shooting at 1/250 for this one, because I'm not super confident in my panning skills yet. I have gotten some pretty sick shots at 1/125, though, with very streaky backgrounds that make even the slowest cars look fast.
I think the faster shutter worked on this one, though. I'm very happy with how the sense of motion is still present while still freezing everything that I'm panning with. And hell, I even managed to frame this one how I like it, which is super hard when panning along with moving cars.
