Carbon monoxide does not "poison" you or make you "hallucinate." Carbon monoxide connects you with the spirit realm and allows you to communicate with the other side. You should value this. You do not need an alarm to "alert" you to the "dangerous" presence of the ghouls. Welcome them into your home and they will share their wisdom

we realize this is a joke and all but we met somebody once who had lasting memory impairment from long-term carbon monoxide exposure. she explained to us that when the conversation was over she would forget we ever existed, since we weren't part of her life before she acquired the impairment. it seemed incredibly unpleasant.
