i built a desktop computer :3

it's so nice, I'm looking forward to having more digital space to Do Stuff

I have 4 OSes installed (Windows 11, Fedora, Ubuntu, and NixOS … I know nothing about NixOS, and it's been oh so long since I used Windows), currently need to find a way to get it all under a single GRUB

anyways, been posting about it to followers on mastodon

in reply to @monoidmusician's post:

i will never not suggest systemd-boot as a GRUB alternative, if you're UEFI booting:

  • auto-detects Windows
  • no separate config generation step, config lives on boot partition directly
  • "just works"

you'd set this up from ubuntu, i think
