Posting this late here but here's a commish I was pretty damn proud of, of a client's Jojo OC. It feels weird to only start feeling confident painting basic stuff like a lady in a coat after years and years of avoiding it, but hey, i'm not complaining. I was real proud of the primary trio bg here between the blue block frame, yellow text and the solid red Stand.

That's so kind of you! This is one of those pieces that just went smooth as butter from start to finish. One thumbnail, approved, rendered, done. I love it when the proverbial plan comes together.

Thank you! The texture there is from a set of photographs taken by a friend years ago of pollen/dust on the surface of water. I got a copy of them like 5 years ago and they've featured in so much of my work since - the text was actually a placeholder but stuck around after the client and I both agreed it just Looked Good

Oh I haven't been away from art, haha, i've just always been terrible at painting Regular Folks in Regular Clothing.
