I got through all of my drills and chores and sat down to code, but I'm in a new codebase and everything is crazypants, so I'm doing my best to cobble together the results that I want while acquainting myself with this codebase's sins of the past. It took a good bit longer than I expected, honestly.

Today
I have counseling at 4PM. Otherwise it's a largely normal day other than that I woke up late and feeling really gungy. I'm still shaking it off at a time of day where I'd already be halfway through my early flow type stuff, but I've officially uhh, taken my pills and had breakfast and gotten through the waking-up routine.
Feelings
I'm tired specifically today. I also hate how much time it takes me to absorb information in a new codebase and turn it into action. I wish I could hack effectively without uncertainty. I think that rather than that, I just need to accept that sometimes you've got to throw hours and have a few false starts.
... I don't like it.
