my wife showed me a tweet when i started playing totk that said “you’re not stuck, you just forgot about ascend” and let me tell you the amount of times i’ve been stuck and then screamed those very words in revelation has been embarrassing

Heck yeah recall is so useful. I’d go into it if you like but it’s my fave. It’s kinda like Stasis in the first game, rarely apparently useful, but incredibly awesome if used well

If someone throws something at you, recall will send it back, that’s saved me from a bunch of Moblins. And it’s my favorite strat to use on Flux Constructs, they’ll throw cubes at you and I crawl up on one and recall it to fly up to the weak point. (Ascend also works on low level Flux Constructs tho)

If you want to launch a Zonai wing, pick it up into the air and off the cliff a little with Ultrahand, put it down, climb on and recall it to the top.

But here’s one I saw in a YouTube vid as a “glitch” but honestly it seems completely legit to me: if you want to fly up to something in arrow range, fuse a bundle of wood or some other fairly large object to an arrow, and shoot it up to hit the side of the thing. When the object falls back down, fuse a plank or something to it, climb on, and recall the object. It’ll fly back up to the thing with the platform attached to it. And since objects launched with arrows don’t tumble as they fall, the platform stays stable and doesn’t throw you off.
