had to go onto the letter website today to grab a funny meme and my anxiety is still spiked from the vile shit i saw in the 2.3 seconds i was there. i would say it’s bad now (and it is) but this is how i felt there for the last… half a decade at least. at least. bad site. glad to see it go. no love for it and i feel like i’m taking crazy pills when i see people get sad about it falling apart. “oh but i met people on it.” my brother in christ you can meet people anywhere what in god’s holy name are you talking about

I thought I might miss it but holy cow I don't miss it at all. I don't even click on embeds anymore, to read a full thread or whatever. It's not worth it.
i've had more friendly interactions with people in a few months of cohost than like 13 years of twitter. the 'oh but i made friends' people have gotta realise they're unicorns.
