it looks like such a fun game and i have sworn to never fucking touch it because of how awful everything but the platforming looks
it’s incredible how they made the gameplay perfect and decided to give the game a massive debuff with the worst dialogue ever written (and a lot of it)
they did the doom eternal thing where they make the core game solid at the expense of literally everything else
a lot of people have a really visceral reaction to it and the fans seem to be completely immune to what you're feeling. i am curious if you can place exactly what it is you dislike about it so much?
literally every single element of the dialogue and characterization sucks ass. it’s the most generic anime trope-y shit i’ve ever seen and it has the gall to act like that’s okay because it’s self aware (the coward’s way out)

you either hate the writing so much it makes ur blood boil or u can just vibe w it
im thankful im in the latter camp but i can definitely understand the former
