its sorta like the ghosts that you can find around, but for an entire fucked up event

so ygotta think of it like "stored energy" irl. yknow? bad shit goes down in a place, and it sorta leaves an Ethereal Vibe -- them flags be Ethereal Vibes, of the old battlefield.
sort of like the graves in the DLC preview image
(its also same explanation for why them ghostly folks just repeat the same thing; it isnt a ghost, its just a Vibe, implanted there by the event)
