do oceans look different? like if i looked at a picture of the pacific ocean and a picture of the atlantic ocean, would there be any discernible difference?

more sinister than intimidating

not an expert but i have been to at least 2 oceans in my life. my guess is that if the picture includes the beach, itd be a lot more likely for someone to be able to tell a difference. Id speculate that deep oceans away from the coast all look pretty similar, and that differences might more come down to the way the sky looks on the water rather than actual differences in the water itself?
kinda depends on their proximity to the equator and their proximity to land, the ocean closer to the equator is gonna look more turquoise if you’re looking at it from a beach say, and that’s true for pacific and atlantic. further from the equator it’s gonna look a darker blue.
