where the FUCK is my star wars crpg

more sinister than intimidating
where the FUCK is my star wars crpg
It's called The Old Republic and you will be reminded at every moment that you're a horrible person for not playing the paid version.
does that count? i guess i assumed crpg meant something a little more... free form? idk (assuming your talking about kotor btw)
yeah KOTOR absolutely counts; it’s a pretty conventional example of the genre. most crpgs are closer to KOTOR than say, disco elysium or bg3.
they absolutely should make a Star Wars crpg that’s more free form though that’d rock.
huh, TIL. hey while i have your attention, any good recent-ish sci fi crpgs i should look at?
There’s the Shadowrun games that came out a few years ago now - both Dragonfall and Hong Kong are some of the best to ever do it. a Warhammer 40k one called Rogue Trader just came out, but i’ve not played it.
There’s one called Colony Ship that looks really cool and people seem to like a lot. There’s a demo for it on Steam. I wish I could speak on it directly but unfortunately I’m nowhere near as good at keeping up with cool new games as I am replaying Dark Souls 1 twice consecutively.
Honestly though most CRPGs cleave to fantasy pretty heavily. It sucks I feel like I’ve spent decades pining for more SciFi CRPGs.
