i started watching the bear a little while ago. watched the first episode, it was good but nothing really happened. watched the second episode, it wasn’t good and nothing happened. i’m sick of shows being like this. if you’re gonna have insanely short seasons every single episode needs to be off-the-wall banger scenes back-to-back. nobody needs 5 minutes of sad divorced dad being a sad divorced dad when we only get 8(!!!) episodes per season. pathetic. absolutely god awful lighting too, im seriously sick of everything looking like washed-out sludge. my review of the series: 0/10

this is a big part of why I basically don't watch live action tv anymore. I'll watch some anime if the visuals are interesting enough, but I just don't have the patience for slow TV.
if I want a good story told well, I'll watch a movie. and if I need something engaging that didn't require much effort from me, I'll listen to a podcast or watch YouTube.
Streaming era sucks so bad so I'm picky as hell with TV shows now. Watch The Curse, I can promise you something happens in the first episode.

maybe its a taste thing? bc i can understand not vibing with the plot but bad cinematography is NOT one of the complaints i'd ever levy against the show.
