it’s honestly refreshing just to get a critical read on this expansion while everything else is either blind praise, reanimated difficulty #discourse, or the classic sucking off Miyazaki routine. Personally I’m having an alright time, taking it slow, not in love with it and have plenty of gripes. Mainly, the people who likened the shadow realm to Lordran in terms of map design are dead to me.
yeah I'm enjoying some parts but it's extremely rough right? from what I've seen even a lot of the reddit people aren't thrilled about the story & rehashed final boss
Yeah, my disappointment so far has been me liking all the enemy move sets a lot more as they feel more like dark souls-y, but then I get one or two shot which kinda ruins the changes. The story so far has seemed the same of like oh this could be neat then it's just like oh I guess that's it
