As I finally play through Fallout; New Vegas, I am through base content (a quite enjoyable abnegatory time-sink of an open world; I particularly like the systemic faction interactions) and finally getting into the DLC

I have started with Blood Money, the one most roundly panned, and maybe my expectations were set too low, but this first act is a charming Resident Evil haunted village. Sure, combat ends up pretty mushy by porting it into the fallout engine, but I'm havign a grand old time being liberated from the constraints of my old backpack full of junk I might need and doing a little caustic survival horror
