i don't think i'll ever manage to be a full time android user again, but i do use my razr a lot. it's more like an ipod touch than a phone to me. it has a bunch of storage and the form factor + modern features like good bt connectivity make it a really convenient portable music player!
that also means i had to figure out a way of keeping hundreds of gigabytes worth of music in sync between it and my nas. i ended up settling on just running rsync using termux. with key based ssh auth it's literally just one command that runs in the background and only syncs changes. i bet i could even run it over ovpn while on the go.
i do wish poweramp's player ui looked less goofy on really tall displays though lol. at least it looks and runs fine on the cover screen.
