yep! Firefox OS, it was an attempt to make a free, fully web-based mobile operating system by Mozilla. It was considered a failure and Mozilla discontinued it, but variants of it still exist to this day for some smart TVs and lower-spec phones.
i'm familiar with it, did it have distinct advantages we miss out on today?
