ill pre-disclose that im trying to figure out a list of cool lenses i could get one of used, but you don't need to think about what I want, just what you like. please wax lyrical about why you like them.

if you're having trouble narrowing down lenses, or just thinking of lenses without suggestion, in this roll-out spoiler there is a list of things that might spark your brain. they're also a jumbled list of what im thinking about while looking for lenses but you'll note there's a number of contradictions. don't take this as prescription, just post lenses you like.

yes i am weaponizing communal autism to farm recommendations, i dont care i like sminky ol things that suck unless you don't care about the reason they suck

list of suggestions haha M42 mount
EF mount
super-wide angle
odd bokeh
big, hazy bloom
weird formfactor
harmless mislabelling
extremely heavy for size
absurdly light for age
zoom lenses that might as well not have a zoom

ill contribute in advance with what's a bit of a "basic" addition, most people seem to have heard of these lenses, the SMC Takumar 55mm 1.8 lenses. i have one that's in a little weird period that the labelling doesn't match the common labellings (it says "SMC TAKUMAR 1:1.8/55" which doesn't seem to be recorded among definitively-known names). these lenses are radioactive, and this lens is a half the size of my EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 II but around four times the weight. love it, even if it's a consistent pain in the ass and the mount adapter im using makes the focus adjustment inaccurate.

I really like everything in the Pentax M42 line. Obviously the odd/radioactive ones are most well known, but the 50mm 1.4, the 135mm, and the 35mm are beautiful lenses no matter which production run they're from tbh. The only one I don't have from the line that I'd really like to try someday is the 85mm.
